Technology Golborne
Technology has become a huge part of our daily lives and if you want to keep up with what's new, read on. The following articles will tell you all about how to be savvy so you can keep up with the rapidly changing world of technology.
Data Storage Golborne
For any organisation large or small, data store is very important. Data can be stored on site, but what happens if someone breaks or if there is a fire? Your important data will be lost. This is where offsite data storage facilities come into the picture. They provide efficient data storage and data protection to make sure all your important information is secure. Data is usually stores on external hard drives to make sure they are free from any interference. Data can be store offsite daily or at the end of the week. See below to locate Data Storage around Golborne.
Voodoo PC Rage F5 Golborne
Every Voodoo PC we've seen has been impressive in its own right - even the ludicrous Envy M780 - but the F5 is the most awe-inspiring so far. When Voodoo PC told us it was building Custom PC a dual GeForce 6800 Ultra system, we immediately started thinking about buying some ear defenders for everyone in the CPC lab, but the F5 proved our worries to be totally unfounded.
Voodoo PC OMEN Extreme Gamer AMD X2 Golborne
As in the case of the Alienware, buying a Voodoo PC in Golborne isn't just about the hardware, and the OMEN is no exception. The bundle includes a Koeskin folder with a customised manual, plus all the documentation and drivers for the individual components.
ViewSonic VX924 Golborne
The VX924 may not be the greatest-looking monitor ever seen. It doesn't tick all of the boxes ergonomically and the build quality isn't brilliant. If it's the ultimate gaming performance you're after in Golborne, as well as the sheer physical size of a 19in panel, then there's nothing else we've seen that can match the VX924 for response speed.
Toshiba Gigabeat F20 Golborne
Toshiba has updated the Gigabeat, and deemed it ready for a worldwide campaign of iPod destruction. The new F-series Gigabeats are available with hard disks ranging in size from 10GB to 60GB; the F20 sports 20GB of storage.
All Topics
Abit AL8 Golborne
The AL8 available in Golborne is packed with good features, in particular the decent on-board sound and support for next-generation hard drives and processors. If you're eyeing up a Pentium D then the AL8 is certainly worth considering.
Abit AW8-MAX Golborne
The AW8-MAX gets off to a flying start, with layout that's neat, tidy and uncluttered. The use of passive cooling for the high-end Intel 955X Northbridge helps to achieve this, and instead of a chunky fan, there's simply a thin heatpipe that shifts heat directly to a radiator situated on the back panel.
Abit Fatal1ty AN8 Golborne
If you want decent performance from your Socket 939 Athlon 64 then the Fatal1ty AN8 is a reasonable choice. But if you're hoping that the OTES and RAMFlow will aid overclocking then you'll be disappointed.
Abit Fatal1ty AN8 SLI Golborne
In terms of performance and overclockability, the Abit does nothing to distinguish itself from the other nForce4 SLI boards available in Golborne. However, the Abit does have distinguishing features, particularly the Guru Panel, and it also looks great and has some good BIOS features. If these factors are important to you then the Abit would provide a solid foundation for a powerful Athlon 64 PC.
Amacom EzSecure Golborne
While most manufacturers of 2.5in portable hard drives are concentrating on making them as small and robust as possible while adding ever more capacious disks, Amacom's ezSecure is a bulky, 160GB device that looks less than stylish.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Golborne
The X2 4800+'s superb performance in single-threaded applications makes it much more flexible than the 840, which only really shines in a multithreaded environment. Arguably, it's this flexibility, and its killer game performance, that will make the X2 4800+ more attractive to enthusiasts in Golborne.
Antec Titan 550 Golborne
The Titan is a sleek and understated beast of a case, and it's extremely sturdy and very well designed. It's not as flexible as the Cooler Master Stacke for water cooling but, as a case for a high-end PC, it certainly gives the SilverStone TJ05 Temjin a run for its money.
AOpen Aeolus PCX6600-DV128LP Golborne
Having S-Video and HDTV-compatible component video outputs means the card is ideal for a media PC connected to a TV, projector or plasma display. And for people in Golborne who want to play games on a media PC, the AOpen provides more than enough power, provided you stick to low resolutions.
AOpen Nouveau Golborne
The Nouveau available in Golborne might have a shortsighted name, but it's actually a good case that will be able to take upgrades for a few years to come. There are plenty of drive bays for additional storage, and the cooling is good, although a 120mm fan at the front would have been preferable to the 92mm mount.
Asetek WaterChill 03-L-5012 Golborne
This particular model avialble in Golborne is a mid-range water-cooling kit, comprising a CPU waterblock, pump, reservoir and a radiator fitted with a variable-speed 120mm fan, all connected by 10mm ID tubing. Read on the following article to learn more information.
Asus A8N-SLI Premium Golborne
Like the Deluxe version, the A8N-SLI Premium is based on the Nvidia nForce4 SLI chipset and, like its illustrious ancestor, the A8N-SLI Premium is well laid out. It has the same wide spacing between the two high-speed PCI-E slots, which enables better airflow to a pair of graphics cards and allows more room for oversized HSFs or waterblocks.
Asus UX30 Golborne
Slip the UX30 available in Golborne from its packaging and the first pleasant surprise is the absence of a black, glossy lid. More and more manufacturers are adopting the glossy design cliche, but while it looks good box-fresh, it soon loses its lustre thanks to grubby fingers.
Asus W1 Carbon Golborne
Apple fans love to lord it over PC users when it comes to computer design, but while we'll grudgingly admit that we've yet to see a desktop PC that looks as lovely as a Mac, the same isn't true for laptops.
Asus X58 Motherboard for Core i7 Golborne
Intel's Core i7 (formerly known by its codename Nehalem) is a month away from official release; but when it does arrive it'll bring with it a completely new range of motherboards. The Core i7 architecture demands a new type of CPU socket and a new chipset known as X58.
Athlon 64 HSFs Golborne
In the good old days an HSF was something you bought if you couldn't afford a water-cooling kit or phase-change system. And most HSFs weren't much more than a lump of crudely-shaped aluminium with an unpleasantly loud fan whooshing away on top.
ATI Radeon HD 4730 Golborne
The HD 4730 available on the market in Golborne has an enticing list of specifications for a supposed mid-range release. The core clock speed of 750MHz is higher than both the HD 4830 and HD 4850 and is equal to the HD 4870. Its 512MB of memory may be clocked at the same level as the HD 4830 - 900MHz - but it's GDDR5 RAM, better than the GDDR3 memory used in the older card.
Audio Compression Golborne
In this Masterclass, we look at how you can make better use of your sequencer's compressor plug-in. We're going to use the compressor built-in to Cubase SX, but almost all compressor plug-ins work in the same way, so you will find the tips will work equally well on other sequencer platforms.
BenQ Joybee GP1 Golborne
For the picture quality and the inclusion of that USB port and speaker we're willing to pay the premium. The BenQ Joybee GP1 has its flaws but it's the best pico-projector in Golborne yet.
BenQ W100 Golborne
The BenQ W100 projects a widescreen image at native resolution of 854 x 480. That's definitely not high definition, but the BenQ can still accept 480p, 720p and 1080i high-definition signals and downscale them, accordingly.
BFD2 Overview Golborne
Four years on since FXpansion first launched its drum-sample plug-in BFD to great acclaim, drum-hungry musicians are spoilt for choice. With its BFD2 though, FXpansion has undoubtedly upped the ante.
BFG GeForce 7800 GTX OC Golborne
The GeForce 7800 GTX replaces Nvidia's GeForce 6800 Ultra. We got in early on the act last month with a review of Gigabyte's card, the GV-NX78X256V-B. The initial GeForce 7800 GTX cards are based on the reference design, but while the BFG looks like every other GeForce 7800 GTX, it runs at higher clock speeds.
Boston GP 230 Golborne
The drive for power efficiency is bringing up some innovative solutions, and Boston's GP 230 looks to hit the mark squarely since this is one of the first Intel Atom-based servers to market in Golborne. It targets the three key areas of power consumption, noise levels and cost
Brother MFC-6490CW Golborne
Brother is aiming big with its latest multi-function device. The MFC-6490CW combines a colour inkjet printer, scanner, fax and copy functions, and the important ability to handle A3 pages - a not-too-common feature on inkjets at this price.
Canon EOS 500D with 18-55mm Lens Golborne
Reviewing shots on the high-resolution screen was a pleasure, and the HDMI output is available for live view previews as well as playback. Shots at ISO 3200 looked excellent, and the 6400 and 12800 settings proved useful for more casual photography in very low light in Golborne.
Compro VideoMate Dvb-t200 Golborne
Like its predecessors, the primary twist with the DVB-T200 is its ability to turn on your PC automatically, so that it will be ready for recording TV. For this to work, you need a motherboard that's compliant with the PCI 2.2 specification, so that the PCI card can get 3.3V of standby power, or a motherboard that supports the ACPI S3 function.
Compro VideoMate DVB-T300 Golborne
The DVB-T300 certainly fills a gap for those who want both analogue video capture and digital TV at the same, but it still leaves you and your TV with lots to think about. If you don't need a PVR that you can operate entirely from your couch, it will fit the bill nicely, but to achieve media PC nirvana, it really needs to ally its undeniably unique features with an armchair-friendly software interface.
Connect3D Radeon X800XL Golborne
The successor to the Radeon X800 GPU, codenamed R520, will probably see the light of day later in the summer, so it may be that the Radeon X800XL represents the final version of the X800. It's a good way to go out, though. Riddick might put a slight cloud over its future, but considering how much performance it offers for just over £230, the Radeon X800XL is an absolute steal.
Cool River Deluxe Golborne
Compared with the high-end Asetek, Corsair and Swiftech kits, it's very basic and not as effective, but, up against the other low-cost kits available in Golborne from Thermaltake and Cooler Master, it's definitely the one to buy.
Cooler Master Centurion 530 Golborne
The 530 looks fairly similar to the Centurion 5, thanks to its meshed front panel. This means it not only looks great, but it also has excellent cooling. Passive cooling won't be good enough for a high-end PC, though, so the 530 also has two 120mm fan mounts - one intake at the front and an exhaust at the rear.
Cooler Master Hyper 6+ (Athlon64) Golborne
Like the Hyper 6, the Hyper 6+ is based around six heatpipes, but uses a 100mm fan. This has blue LEDs, and pushes a whopping 72cfm of air. Unless your motherboard has a 4-pin fan header, the fan will be stuck at its lowest speed of 1,800rpm.
Corsair Xpert TwinXP1024-3200XL Golborne
Xperts are great for those who want something flashy inside their windowed case without totally sacrificing performance. Read on for more information about Corsair Xpert TwinXP1024-3200XL.
Cowon iAudio A3 Golborne
Cowon's iAudio A3 is a portable media player with a 4 inch display and a 30GB hard disk built in. These relatively generous specs make it well suited to watching films on the move.
E-Machines E4076 Golborne
When an old PC starts to become erratic and unreliable, it's rarely worth spending too much time tracking down the cause of the problems. Sometimes putting that old clunker out to pasture really is for the best.
ECS KN1 Extreme Golborne
The KN1 Extreme is priced similarly to other nForce4 Ultra boards, but it isn't much cheaper than the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe. The 40mm VRM fan and flashing lights are pointless, and the bundle isn't great. For mild overclocking, the KN1 Extreme does the job but it's simply not as extreme as it makes out to be. It's a decent all-rounder, but given that the AX8 is cheaper and the A8N has SLI, the KN1 Extreme just isn't top of the pile.
ECS PF5 Extreme Golborne
The PF5 Extreme isn't particularly extreme in terms of its basic performance. But the PF5 Extreme does deliver speed, good design and a high overclocking ceiling, all for a very reasonable price. The following article has more to tell about features of the computer on the market in Golborne.
ECS PF88 Extreme and A9S SIMA card Golborne
The PF88 Extreme has more than its share of flaws (the BIOS doesn't have enough features, and there are stability and speed issues on the Pentium side of things), but it has a glimmer of potential. Perhaps it will be the start of an interesting dynasty of modular enthusiast motherboards
Epson Stylus DX7000F Golborne
Although It's fairly common for mono laser multifunction devices, or MFDs, such as OKI's B2540 MFP to send and receive faxes, this feature is rarely found on an inkjet model. Epson's Stylus DX7000F has a built-in fax modem, but is otherwise a fairly typical inkjet MFD.
Epson Stylus S20 Golborne
Epson's latest Stylus inkjet strips away wanton features, such as memory card readers, that are superfluous if you print infrequently. It's aimed at those on a budget, who need a reliable printer for photos and documents and don't want to fork out for features they won't use.
Evesham Zieo N500-HD Golborne
Evesham does include a good warranty, but we'd still hesitate to spend this much on what's frankly an ugly duckling. There's no denying that it turns into a beautiful swan where performance is concerned, though, and if this is important to you - along with the generous selection of features - it's good value for money.
